The outdoor sculpture works of Panthera Stone Carving Ltd. are created in public, church and community spaces, always adapted to the spirit and function of the given location. The orders include full-size sculptures, busts, monuments, reliefs and unique plastic works.

The design and execution of outdoor sculptures is a complete creative process. The creation always begins with careful preparation: concept development, sketch making, and then the creation of a 1:1 scale clay model and plaster sample. This workflow ensures the accuracy of proportions, the refinement of details, and long-term durability.

During the construction process, we exclusively work with weather-resistant natural stone materials – including limestone and marble – taking into account the structural and environmental aspects associated with outdoor placement. We pay special attention to the foundation, the method of fixing, and the on-site placement so that the creation fits securely and appropriately into its surroundings.

Our works can be found in the public spaces of many Hungarian towns, serving as monuments or works of religious or historical significance for the communities. Our goal is to create outdoor sculptures that not only represent aesthetic value but also convey a lasting message for future generations.

Important information about the preservation of the condition of outdoor stone sculptures

Outdoor sculptures made of natural stone – especially limestone – are continuously exposed to weather and environmental influences. Precipitation, frost, air pollution, and biological pollutants can cause long-term damage to the material structure.

Regular, professional maintenance and conservation are essential for preserving the durability, aesthetic value, and technical safety of stone sculptures. Timely preventive interventions significantly extend the lifespan of the works of art and prevent costly restoration work.

Stone carving

The stone carving activity of Panthera Kőszobrászat Kft. is based on traditional craft techniques and decades of professional experience. In our work, we use natural stone materials, paying special attention to the choice of materials, environmental conditions, and the long-term durability of the finished stone elements.

In the field of stone carving, we undertake the creation of building decorations and architectural stone elements, unique carvings, stairs, parapets, gates, stone frames, as well as other functional and decorative stone works. In every order, precise surveying, the elaboration of details, and the quality of execution play a prominent role.

During the design and execution process, we complement traditional manual machining with modern technological knowledge, if the project’s nature justifies it. We pay special attention to work carried out in the historical environment, where respect for the original forms, proportions, and material use is a fundamental professional requirement.

Restoration

Panthera Stone Sculpture Ltd. undertakes the restoration and reconstruction of stone sculptures, monuments and architectural stone elements with an architectural perspective and high professional responsibility. The goal of the restoration work is to preserve the original state and formal values, as well as to protect the works for the long term.

The restoration process always begins with a thorough condition assessment and documentation. During the interventions, we take into account the original material use, previous repairs, and environmental impacts. The necessary additions and repairs are carried out using traditional stone carving techniques, respecting the original design.

Special attention is paid to the characteristics of natural stone materials – primarily limestone – as well as to the treatment of damage caused by outdoor placement. In restoration work, our goal is to minimize intervention, preserve the material, and ensure long-term stability.

Our experience extends to the restoration and reconstruction of the stone elements of public statues, reliefs, memorial plaques and monuments.
